Cable grommets with reduced bore

The installation of rubber grommets is usually done manually. However, this process can be made more efficient when handling larger quantities. The video demonstrates a simple assembly aid that can be easily made. Alternatively, a piece of coated wire or nylon cord with a diameter of approximately one millimeter can be used.

To do this, a wire loop is guided through the hole and placed in the circumferential groove of the grommet. The grommet should be positioned so that its lower edge touches the rim of the hole. With a gentle pull, the rubber part can then be completely pulled into the hole.
